Authorize Representative in KPRA

Who can present on tax payer behalf; here is the list of people who are eligible to represent tax payer in KPRA.

Persons authorized to represent a tax

The following persons maybe authorized by a taxpayer to represent him before the authority or its officer, Collector (Appeals) , Alternate Dispute resolution Committee and the appellate Tribunal

• a person in the employment of the taxpayer working on a fulltime basis;
• an advocate
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Commerce or Business Administration
• Chartered Accountant
• Cost & Management Accountant
• a person who has retired or resigned after putting in satisfactory service in the provincial or federal Tax Departments for a period of not less than ten years in a post not inferior to that of an Assistant Collector; provided that no such person shall be entitled to represent to a taxpayer for a period of one from the date of his retirement or resignation, or in a case in which he had made or approved any order under the relevant law
