How to register your company in Islamabad

Security and exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) is exclusively government body that register company. There is two way of company registration, one way is offline and second one is online procedure.

Below described procedure will help you how to register your company.
For Offline procedure:
Visit SECP website, download Name availability Form, fill in the application with correct spelling of your company name and deposit your fee in any branch of UBL or MCB. Send application with original bank receipt to your related Company registration office (CRO).
Company registration office (CRO) will reserve name after checking criteria at every steps of name reservation provisions rules under company ordinance 1984.
After name reservation, submit other documents to your related CRO.
For Online Procedure:
Regarding your business name, it should indicate your principle activities of business. It is the symbol of your company. Therefore be careful selecting your company name. it should neither resemble with other business nor inappropriate.
When you have chosen your name, use E-service portal of SECP for user id creation to start the process of your company. E-service portal only works on Internet explorer.
These are the new steps which SECP has modified at the end of March 2017 that will help you in registering your company
Step 1:
SECP User Id:
Create your user id with your national identity card.
Step 2:
Company Name Availability:
When you have created your SECP user id, search your company name but this name should not be inappropriate, not deceptive, should not on any other country name but there are certain condition open which have to fulfile after that you are allowed to reserve your company name on restricted words.
Step 3:
Fee Submission:
Once you have selected your company name, deposit your challan fee in any branch of UBL or MCB. Your company name will be reserved after 2 to 3 working days if there is no objection on name. Your Company name will reserve for ninety days (90). After the laps of this period, your company name will be expired.

Submission of Documents:
